”Gardens, Birds & Poetics of Migration”
On Saturday 18th April we gathered in the garden of St Dorothy’s Convent, Mdina, to speak of migrations again: human, bird, and plant. We asked where the calla lilies come from and remembered the doves and our loved ones.
Do plants and birds gossip?
We asked if trees ever wished to be planted elsewhere. We enquired if birds discuss garden borders. We noticed how happy they seem to be flying over walls and visiting the different gardens in Mdina.
What remains when gardens and the birds are gone?
