We spent a lovely morning at the National Museum of Archaeology in Valletta, where the Migrants Commission, in collaboration with Heritage Malta, organized the Found in Translation workshop.
The workshop brought together children and adults to explore storytelling, language and cultural heritage. We began with a short guided tour of the museum, reflecting on the stories archaeology can tell us about how people used to live, work, spend their free time and connect with one another.
Afterwards, we shared stories from different cultures, discussed the moral lessons found in them, and reflected on the values many folktales have in common – kindness, generosity, courage, humility and justice.
