Therapeutic Support

The Migrants Commission offers psychotherapeutic services to support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of migrants living in Malta and Gozo. These services reflect the unique psychological stresses faced by migrants, such as adjustment issues, trauma, and cultural integration concerns, alongside more general challenges like anxiety and depression. Counselling and therapy can support individuals and families to navigate new environments more fully and effectively. Individuals can access these services through referrals from government entities, NGOs, and other stakeholders who recognize the need for focused mental health support, as well as through online self-referral.
